(Albert
Einstein, 1954) We must not conceal from ourselves that no improvement in the
present depressing situation is possible without a severe struggle; for the
handful of those who are really determined to do something is minute in comparison
with the mass of the lukewarm and the misguided.
As with all thoughtful forums, it is required that people make the effort
to be polite and kind in their comments. The principle of 'Do unto others'
is a pretty good foundation for morality, both in life and in posting here.
To Moderators: Please read on the relevant sections of the Wave Structure of
Matter (WSM) before posting (see above search option) so that we can (hopefully)
create a quality forum (and yes, we realise that the website needs improving,
which is part of the purpose of this forum). It is also very helpful to know
the related keywords
that people actually search on the internet. Please try and check this
and use these keywords. This does not mean spamming, but to try and use these
keywords several times. i.e. In the Subject heading and page content. You will
also find the latest Google
Toolbar very useful as it has a spelling checker and various other cool
features.
Finally, we have a policy of only linking to good quality relevant websites. If in doubt please put links in brackets, people can copy and past link into browser address bar if they wish to visit site. e.g. (http://www.anywebsite.com)
This is a Science Forum on the Metaphysics of Space / Wave Structure of Matter.
As a Philosophy of Science Forum, the rules of this Forum are founded on two
sources of knowledge;
i) The Methods of Science - That Logic deduced from the most simple Principles
must correspond to evidence from our senses / empirical knowledge.
ii) Metaphysics (Dynamic Unity of Reality) - That Reality is described from
One Substance existing (Space) to explain the Necessary Interconnection of
Matter in the Universe.
People's imaginations and opinions are endless in their diversity, and invariably lead to conflict and confusion. The point of this forum is to discuss truth, founded on physical reality, as a way of limiting / correcting people's opinions. We appreciate it is a bit different from most forums on the Internet, we do though think you will find it interesting (and we think it is important). The forum is really a bit of a mix of forum and website. The Forum is divided into seven main sections. Please see Forum Index for details.
In each subject area we have put up a short summary as an 'announcement' that is 'locked' so that it cannot be edited and stays at the top of the list. The aim is to stimulate discussions that are relevant to the Wave Structure of Matter and its applications to the particular subject. To comment on these subjects you just need to click on 'New Topic' button and add your comments (assuming you have moderator privileges - see below).
However, we ask that people first read on the subject before posting, such that we can try and maintain a quality forum! The best knowledge will (over time) be added to the 'locked' posts at the top of each forum. The aim is to ensure that the best quality posts and knowledge can be presented at the top of each section, while allowing people to discuss these ideas in the posts below.
Due to endless spam I have now (Jan. 2006) changed permissions so all people have to Register / Log In to post in the top 'Say Hello' section (previously anyone could post there). You can still read posts from the rest of the forum without registering, however, to post in the rest of this Science Forum you need to apply to be a 'moderator' (the term phpBB uses - but really just enables us to give you permission to post in all forum sections). Only people who have made some effort to understand the Wave Structure of Matter will be accepted as Moderators. By earning this right to edit and contribute to work that we think is important and requires careful thought, we hope to maintain a high quality forum that efficiently utilises the various talents of a variety of contributors.
The Wave Structure of Matter is unique in being the most simple language for
describing reality (founded on One thing existing, Space with the Properties
of a Wave Medium). So rather than accepting the current postmodern paradigm
that Science doesn't quite work, that no theory can explain all things (e.g.
unite Einstein's Relativity, Quantum Theory, Cosmology) I hope people will
abide by Occam's Razor and seek the most simple solution to these problems
of Science.
I think you will find this knowledge of the Wave Structure of Matter not only
very simple and sensible, but also very powerful in explaining and solving
numerous problems of human knowledge (many of which date back to Ancient Greek
and Indian Philosophy, and which were thought impossible to solve).
Because of this dynamic unity of the Wave Structure of Matter (founded on One
thing existing, Space, with the properties of an Infinite Eternal Continuous
Wave Medium) this means there can be NO particles, fields, strings,
flowing space (vortexes), quarks, wimps, big bangs, absolute idealism (all
is mind), God / Creation, etc. i.e. We are working from the very sensible
foundation that we experience ourselves and the things around us existing in
Space, which is clearly true. And abiding by simplicity, rather than ignoring
space (e.g. Einstein's Relativity, Quantum Theory), assuming Space was created
by something else!, or adding more things to Space (e.g. time, particles, fields,
strings, etc), instead we must simply consider Space as the One thing that
exists and thus seek to understand its Properties (as a wave medium for spherical
standing waves that form matter).
So please realise that if you want to argue about the existence of these other
things then it is best you find another forum (there are hundreds of them out
there with their endless opinions, arguments, paradoxes, etc. ...)
As Leibniz writes;
(Gottfried
Leibniz, 1670) Reality cannot be found except in One single source, because
of the interconnection of all things with one another. ... It is a good thing
to proceed in order and to establish propositions (principles). This is the
way to gain ground and to progress with certainty. ... I hold that the mark
of a genuine idea is that its possibility can be proved, either a priori by
conceiving its cause or reason, or a posteriori when experience teaches us
that it is a fact in nature. ... a distinction must be made between true and
false ideas, and that too much rein must not be given to a mans imagination
under pretext of its being a clear and distinct intellection.
Despite this abrupt introduction you will find the people here to be nice,
make an effort to maintain a cheerful good humour (we are human and fail sometimes),
and genuinely care about our world and the many problems that we currently
face. Most significantly, by carefully understanding the history and evolution
of these wonderful subjects of Metaphysics Philosophy and Physics, it is now
quite clear that there is a better language for describing Reality. So we cannot
help but think you will find this both interesting and important. Certainly
the world could do with a little truth and reality for its foundations - rather
than customs founded on past myths that currently cause such conflict and harm
to humanity. Please feel free to browse around, say hello, give us your thoughts.

A few relevant / interesting quotes;
(Plato,
Republic, 380BC ) And those whose hearts are fixed on Reality itself deserve
the title of Philosophers.
(Aristotle,
340BC) Metaphysics is universal and is exclusively concerned with primary substance.
... And here we will have the science to study that which is, both in its essence
and in the properties which, just as a thing that is, it has. ... That among
entities there must be some cause which moves and combines things. ... There
must then be a principle of such a kind that its substance is activity.
(David
Hume, 1737) And though the philosopher may live remote from business, the genius
of philosophy, if carefully cultivated by several, must gradually diffuse itself
throughout the whole society, and bestow a similar correctness on every art
and calling.
(Arthur
Schopenhauer, 1818) The task is not so much to see what no one yet has seen,
but to think what no body yet has thought about that which everyone sees. ...
But life is short, and truth works far and lives long: let us speak the truth.
(Gandhi
1869-1948) Truth alone is eternal, everything else is momentary. It is more
correct to say that Truth is God, than to say that God is Truth. ... All life
comes from the one universal source, call it Allah, God or Parmeshwara.
(F.H.
Bradley, 1846-1924) We may agree, perhaps, to understand by Metaphysics an
attempt to know reality as against mere appearance, or the study of first principles
or ultimate truths, or again the effort to comprehend the universe, not simply
piecemeal or by fragments, but somehow as a whole.
(Max
Planck, 1930s) A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents
and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually
die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it.
(Erwin
Schrodinger. 1930s) What we observe as material bodies and forces are nothing
but shapes and variations in the structure of space. Particles are just schaumkommen
(appearances). ...
The world is given to me only once, not one existing and one perceived. Subject
and object are only one. The barrier between them cannot be said to have broken
down as a result of recent experience in the physical sciences, for this barrier
does not exist. ...
The scientist only imposes two things, namely truth and sincerity, imposes
them upon himself and upon other scientists.
(Fritjof
Capra, 1972.) The most important characteristic of the Eastern world view -
one could almost say the essence of it - is the awareness of the unity and
mutual interrelation of all things and events, the experience of all phenomena
in the world as manifestations of a basic oneness. All things are seen as interdependent
and inseparable parts of this cosmic whole; as different manifestations of
the same ultimate reality.
(Karl
Popper, 1975) Denying realism amounts to megalomania (the most widespread occupational
disease of the professional philosopher). ... In my opinion, the greatest scandal
of philosophy is that, while all around us the world of nature perishes - and
not the world of nature alone - philosophers continue to talk, sometimes cleverly
and sometimes not, about the question of whether this world exists. They get
involved in scholasticism, in linguistic puzzles such as, for example, whether
or not there are differences between 'being' and 'existing'.
(David
Bohm, Wholeness and the Implicate Order, 1980) The notion that all these fragments
is separately existent is evidently an illusion, and this illusion cannot do
other than lead to endless conflict and confusion. Indeed, the attempt to live
according to the notion that the fragments are really separate is, in essence,
what has led to the growing series of extremely urgent crises that is confronting
us today.
It is my firm belief that the last seven decades of the twentieth
century will be characterized in history as the dark ages of theoretical physics.
... The quantum world is a world of waves, not particles.

Prize in 1999)
