Hi Telos,
Interesting questions.
What is Space?
The answer is in two parts.
1. Space is the 'stuff' that you exist in and experience all around you. So I can just point at it and say 'Space'. This is a common experience of all humans, we all experience existing in, and moving about in Space.
2. But naming something is still incomplete, we must also define its Properties. According to the WSM, Space exists as a nearly rigid Wave Medium for spherical waves that form matter.
When we understand matter in this way, as a wave structure of Space, we find that we can explain and solve many of the problems of physics philosophy and metaphysics (the purpose of website and this forum).
It will take some time and effort on your part to confirm that this is in fact true.
Your second question on Mind is also very relevant. Obviously we experience all things (including Space) through the mind.
While I realise that the mind is very complex, and we cannot explain certain aspects of it, the WSM does explain some things. It seems clear to me though, that if you wish to understand the mind, it is a good start to understand physical reality. And rather than assuming the mind exists as a thing in itself (which causes as many problems as it solves), in this forum we are pursuing the opposite path, that mind is caused by the interconnected motion of matter, which is caused by the spherical wave motion of Space (thus we maintain a dynamic unity and interconnection for reality and the things we experience).
So yes, there is still lots to be done!
There is a little bit on this forum, see Philosophy of Mind section;

Hope this incomplete answer helps a little.
