| I came across this site last week and have been enjoying the information provided. I’m 19 and very interested in philosophy, but don’t know much about physics, and I’m wondering, what kind of peer-criticism and attention from other physicists has WSM theory received? Thanks. |

Hi Scotty,
Thanks for posting.
I have not tried to get anything published yet, as my work is not finished / written up (website is being built, still a rough draft).
However, Dr Milo Wolff, who also stumbled onto the idea of the Wave Structure of Matter (from maths physics background, and trying to explain de Broglie wave) has had little success. Given that he has a distinguished career in physics, and has mathematically deduced fundamentals of quantum theory (de Broglie waves) and Einstein's relativity (mass / frequency increase) which both occur with relative motion (and are actually caused by Doppler shifting of waves), I am inclined to the view that it is largely a waste of time at the moment. i.e. Because of censorship in physics / human nature to resist new ideas, it is better to get knowledge visible on internet so the next generation (you) is at least aware of it.
As Darwin and Planck wrote;
Although I am fully convinced of the truth of the views given in this volume I by no means expect to convince experienced naturalists whose minds are stocked with a multitude of facts all viewed, during a long course of years, from a point of view directly opposite to mine. But I look with confidence to the future to young and rising naturalists, who will be able to view both sides of the question with impartiality. (Charles Darwin)
A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it. (Max Planck)
So I hope that you will have an open skeptical mind, both to our claims that the wave structure of matter is correct - and to current postmodern physics / philosophy view that it is impossible to describe / imagine reality.
Good luck with your studies!
Cosmos,
Geoff
