"When forced to summarize the general theory of relativity in one sentence: Time and space and gravitation have no separate existence from matter. ... Physical objects are not in space, but these objects are spatially extended ... thus the concept of particles cannot play a fundamental part, ... and can only appear as a limited region in space in which the field strength or energy density are particularly high."
(Albert Einstein, Metaphysics of Relativity, 1950)
"It is my firm belief that the last seven decades of the twentieth century will be characterized in history as the dark ages of theoretical physics. ... The quantum world is a world of waves, not particles."
(Carver Mead, Professor Emeritus at Caltech. Received $500,000 Lemelson-MIT Prize in 1999)

Hello,
I am a college student who has been studying the WSM for about a year now, ever since I read Milo's book last January. I am working hard to make sense of it, in the hopes of putting it to practical use on some projects I am working on. I just wanted to say that I will be poking my head in from time to time. I look forward to reading here! |

Hi Eric,
I concur with Karene - sorry for late reply / welcome. It is great to have students here with an interest in studying / understanding the Wave Structure of Matter. The rest of us 'old folks' tend to become creatures of habit, both in our thoughts and actions. It is really up to your generation to realise the errors of our current society and knowledge and help improve things over time.
Hope you can have some fun here, look forward to getting to know you.
Sincerely,
Geoff |

Anyone else who wants a book please just email me postal address details (Glenn, I will finally send you copy of book when I send Beers).
You can find my email address 3 ways (I do not post it cos of spam).
