Hi Geoff;
You just knew that sooner or later I would arrive at this forum. The task of assimilating enough of the information in your website to be able to sound intelligible is daunting to say the least. However, I have made it a goal to tackle this promising "key to the cosmic library"
I have spent thirty-five years as a telecommunications tech / manager / engineer and another fifteen as an embalmer/ funeral director. Many times, I've experienced the miracle of taking over the physical remains of a human body to transform it into something that is considered by some to be art but, have seldom witnessed the coming and going of a spark of life force. Many times I have heard a standing wave on a transmission line. The WSM theory brings many things in line for me and I hope to be able to have a better understanding of reality before I cease to exist in this relatively impermanent current form.
I suppose one could consider one to be an amateur philosopher. Although as a zen practitioner, I try not to think. (The process more or less just happens; and, therein lies the eureka phenomenon.) I will proceed with optimism and attempt to contribute where I can. It's good to be here !!
Hoping your Montreal trip was successful,
Richard |

Hi Richard,
Welcome aboard!
You sound very sensible and logical, always a pleasant surprise with human interactions!
I hope that the WSM / website helps, but I really need help to write it all up (better, simpler, cleaner), so a bit of patient determination is needed.
But then Rome was not built in a day, there is a lot to explain.
I am away in Montreal for next 3 months, so please excuse my minimal contributions for a while.
Cheers,
Geoff |
