Well, one thing is for sure (or is it?).
We observe and label the phenomenon that is Existence but we still don't really know what it is. For all our labelling it is still, and always will be, a complete Mystery.
Why should Existence be infinite? Surely it could be finite and yet still eternal. If that is so, then the "statistical certainty" of all possible permutations and combinations of space/time/matter happening would be 1.
The same basic finite substance/energy/waveform phenomenon passing through all possible combinations of expression in an eternal timescale.
So, all the multiverses could be the same universe arranging itself (through the innate laws of physics) in all possible combinations.
Anyhow, that's some ideas for you to think about while you brush your teeth.
I will go and read the articles on WSM to find out what you lot have been thinking about.
Thanks for forum website. I like it.
Yours

Hi Peter.
You write;
"We observe and label the phenomenon that is Existence but we still don't really know what it is. For all our labelling it is still, and always will be, a complete Mystery."
Why is that true? What is your source of truth? Why can't we correctly imagine reality?
And specifically with respect to the wave structure of matter, do you have any evidence that space is only an imagination and does not really exist, that matter is not a wave structure of space?
"Why should Existence be infinite? Surely it could be finite and yet still eternal. If that is so, then the "statistical certainty" of all possible permutations and combinations of space/time/matter happening would be 1."
Metaphysics (and all logical and empirical knowledge) is founded on the principle of necessary connection (Hume) which requires an underlying unity to reality (one thing to connect the many things).
The Wave Structure of Matter in Space explains this, and is thus necessarily the most simple science language for describing reality.
And Space, as one thing that exists, is necessarily infinite and eternal (unbounded, not created from something else).
It is true, that in an infinite space (where our universe is but a finite spherical region of infinite space) then there must be infinite life 'out there'. So yes, a probability of 1 that not only does other life exist, but there is an infinite amount of life within an infinite space.
Peter, as I have / will explain in replies to your other posts, this is a philosophy of science forum. You are not allowed to state truths without providing evidence for them (either from logic / principles or empirical).
You are stating opinions (we cannot know reality) as truths - which is not good (basically).
So please state why your beliefs are true , or mark them clearly as opinions.
I am trying to avoid opinions in this forum. It is not my opinion that we all experience Space, and that a wave structure of matter in this space deduces the fundamentals of quantum theory, Einstein's relativity, and Cosmology. Anyone else can confirm this.
Sorry to be blunt - you are very nice, but you are not abiding by rules of Science / Metaphysics that found this Forum.
