Philosophy Physics Metaphysics of Space - The Wave Structure of Matter (WSM)

The Wave Structure of Matter (WSM) is the most simple language for describing Reality, founded on One thing existing, Space, with Properties of a Continuous Infinite Eternal Wave Medium. While the Wave Structure of Matter (WSM) is not yet well known, it clearly explains and solves many of the fundamental problems of Science (Metaphysics Philosophy Physics) by explaining how matter (and thus humans) are necessarily interconnected to other matter in Space within the Universe. We think this knowledge is important, hope that you find it interesting and will enjoy pondering upon (and discussing!) this new perspective for understanding physical reality.

Hi everyone,
I am a post grad student of philosophy in the uk. I am writing a paper on Gaian theory and it's predecessors. Could you give me your primary sources for the quotes by Zeno, Marcus Aurelius and Einstein on the topic of Gaia? I would appreciate this as I am attempting to provide an overview and defence of Gaia with it's history and want to point to non Cartesian accounts of the Earth. If anyone knows of any quote by Aristotle on the same theme I would be grateful if you would let me know.
Thank you and Best Wishes
Andrea Very Happy

Hi Andrea,

A lot of our website is related to the interconnection of all things as the wave structure of matter in space explains. So you will find a lot more quotes than the above mentioned people.
Some of our quotes are from the internet and not referenced - Zeno may have come from Bertrand Russell's 'History of Western Philosophy', Einstein is from 'special and general relativity' or 'ideas and opinions' or from web, Marcus Aurelius from 'Meditations'. All these books are well worth reading.
Also Spinoza is good, and David Bohm 'Wholeness and Implicate Order'

Sorry I can't help more - be more precise. You will have to do the legwork / research to find correct references.

Interesting and important topic - Gaia / Nature / Interconnection of all things. Clearly it is true, thus our world is in great trouble since we are rapidly destroying Nature (motive for my work!).
Good luck
Cosmos,
Geoff

Hi Geoff,
Thanks for the fast reply and the advice Smile . I too am very interested in Gaia, specifically the ethical implications of the theory. However I am putting it into the context of ancient philosophical thought such as Plato's idea of the earth as a living creature. I have read that Aristotle also made reference to a similar concept of the earth but have researched everything I can find to no avail. Does anyone have any idea if he did refer to the earth in this way perhaps in Metaphysics or another text ? help greatly appreciated Very Happy.
Andrea

Hi andi,

...just stumbled across this, on my travels.

http://psychclassics.yorku.ca/author.htm

A couple of Aristotle works regarding psychology. I haven't read them myself, yet, so not sure if there will be any reference to Gaia. Best I can do for now, i'm afraid...

Good luck with it,
Steve.
